“Girls just wanna have fun…”
So, after a long week, my friend (and bridesmaid), Steph, and I decided we shouldn’t go to class and study all day long. Instead, we decided to take advantage of the fact that we live 20 minutes from Disneyland. We knew it was a weekday and hardly anyone would be there.
Then, Stephanie had the greatest idea of all time. She decided to buy me an annual pass. Basically, my productivity level went WAY down and my chances of passing my 2L courses now are slim, to say the least.
What? We can totally study at Disneyland while on Pirates. Trust me.
We had SO much fun! I’ll leave out the goofiness and the things that made us die laughing — I’m sure you wouldn’t find them as funny — you really did have to be there. I will say that I had never been on Tower of Terror — and thanks to NO waiting in lines, we rode it 3 times in a row. It was fun, but also reminded me that I’m not in my early 20’s anymore and my body takes longer to recover now. Honestly, we WALKED on all the rides — Pirates, Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, Soaring, ALL of them. And if you know me, you know that I have a hard time enjoying anything where children are running around all hopped up on sugar–but that was the beauty — they were at SCHOOL! Let the teachers deal with them (and, in my opinion, they are goddesses among women those teachers — I don’t know how they do it. I’m sure it has something to do with holidays and summers off — but still).
Anyway, we had a great time and are now ready to get back to the studying and the briefing and the socratic method — but I’m sure on some random Tuesday we will talk ourselves into going back — ya know…to study…..
