“The way I laughed with you was loud and hard…”
I’ve watched this about one million times. About 999,898 times, I’ve laughed so hard I peed a little. The other times I was pms’y and nothing could crack me.
In case you don’t know, this is what comedy is:

“Memories…..”
I know it’s corny, but I love Elvis. And so does my dad. In fact, the first memories I have of my dad are him singing along to Elvis — LOUDLY. To me, nothing could sound more sweet. At my wedding, the Father/Daughter “dance” was to “Memories”. And that’s what comes up when I hear Elvis. Elvis makes me think of my dad and my childhood and driving to church on Wednesday nights and my dad balancing me in his hand and my dad’s cologne and that sweet, sweet voice of his.
He was my first Dave Matthews….the first musician that can bring up a flood of emotion with a single note.
In honor of the 30th Anniversary of Elvis’ death, Lisa Marie did this. The melody/song still holds up after so many years– now that’s good music. But it would have been better if my dad sang along…
